See All ReviewsThe owner now will ruin this place. This is what you get plus a sprite for $25. My mother is Honduran it hurts me to write this review. The attendant was very nice, but this is BS. 10 shrimp with lettuce and a 1/16th of an avocado is pathetic. I wouldn’t come here ever again. There’s better places in Philly that can give you that feel from home. This is just sad and very disappointing. Especially from my people. You should be ashamed. I’ve ordered this salad before and it was loaded with cheese, avocado, and shrimp. It was very sad how pathetic this came out. Que bofetada. Llevo viniendo aquí más de 5 años y asi es como representáis a nuestro país? No no no Even left a $5 tip for takeout with the ridiculous price and they still did me wrong. Such a shame.
This is a corner family restaurant and the food is the reason to go. The bean and cheese pupusas come in a thick stack of three with the traditional cabbage and red salsa ... mouth watering. We also had the chicken soup and it was just like a grandma made it for us - served with handmade tortillas. The food takes time to come out and you can taste it was made by hand. We appreciated it all.
Papusa taste like freezer burns. Wayyy better papusa for better price 1 block away. Tables were sticky
