The food is good unfortunately the portions don't match the price. Portion size is very small. Your not really buying a meal but more like an appetizer. On top of the high price of the food prepare to pay extra if you pay with a card.
I am absolutely a returning customer. Dine on quite often for a delightful & delicious meal. The staff is always friendly too!! Love this restaurant.
First time going to El Sauz, I ordered 2 steak tacos for myself. On the other hand, my wife ordered a dish of enchiladas from what we noticed the food was cooked in the microwave and we automatically knew it was going to be taste bad because it was cooked differently and it was terrible. The waitress knew we didn’t enjoy the food due to seeing the chef pull a bag of enchiladas out of the microwave. We are completely disappointed for a Mexican culture restaurant to have cooked in this way.
