This is the second time I’ve ordered my kids a kids meal to go. They have messed up the order. It was supposed to be a chicken enchilada with rice and beans. There was no salsa included in the to go bag. The price was different than advertised. So I end up paying more for something they did not want. If you’re ordering food to go make sure you check the bag before you leave the restaurant.
I'm blessed to call Texas home. Not sure what I would do if I had to eat what other states call Mexican food. Just discovered El Sazón Tex Mex restaurant. Allow me the opportunity to express just how good it was...I have no words to describe it. Tell you what, you go there yourself and you'll understand. I ordered the Paco plate with a side street taco (al pastor). ALL. OF. IT. DELICIOUS. My favorite enchilada was the chicken out of the three, beef, cheese, and chicken. The street taco is to die for with the lime sauce om nom nom! After 57 years of searching I have found my favorite Tex Mex restaurant. Even better, it's literally less than 10 minutes from me. God is good all the time. As for the prices? I dare you to find a better value ANYWHERE, go ahead, do it. I wish El Sazón much success but also don't want to have to call for a reservation in the future. They deserve my not often given 5 star review. Highly recommend. God bless kdub out.
A small restaurant with good food, decent prices and fast service. Walked in, sat at a table of my choice and was quickly greeted by the waiter. He brought chips, salsa and beans very quickly with my water and soon after my Maria plate. Everything on the Maria plate was good, seasoning was great and not overtly salty as many other tex mex places do. Chips were fresh and so was the salsa. I kept eating them with my main. My only complaint, if you are picky about your water, the water taste here is not the best. I quickly asked for a soda and the waiter brought it with no hesitation. Mind you they serve cans, so dont expect free refills (stated on the menu). Will definitely be back to this place!
Y’all - HIDDEN GEM. I’ve eaten tons of Mexican food and the Birria tacos were by far the best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of them. They also served a bean salsa that tasted great as well. I was so pleasantly surprised. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, and being next to a gas station might throw you off. But you will be happy you went.
We found this place by accident and I am so glad we did. It is a small hole in the restaurant that is attached to a gas station. The chips are fresh and appear to be homemade and are served with a delicious salsa and black bean dip. I haven't tried anything that I didn't love. Go give them your business you will be glad you did!
We stopped for lunch and it was great. We ordered the fajita supreme beef and chicken combo. It was delicious! They come with melted cheese on top of them. I especially enjoyed the chips and black bean dip. The queso was decent, guacamole was good. You seat yourself when you come in. The staff were friendly and very quick to bring us menus, chips and salsa. Our food came out quickly too. I saw quite a few people picking up takeout food too.
We've driven by this restaurant without ever realizing how close we were. Just finished dinner to celebrate a birthday. The service was amazing, we were greeted and seated quickly. There were so many choices on the menu. Our food came fast and hot. So quickly there are no pictures of our meal! We all finished all of our meals then had dessert. Go find this amazing restaurant!
We all loved the service, food and the atmosphere. The owners are adorable and polite. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!! YUMMY 😋. Everyone needs to try this place. Fajitas for two is enough for 4 people. It comes with brisket ; grilled shrimp, beef and chicken. Rice and beans. Cost $32.00. During the week they have lunch specials for $8.99. A soft drink will be in a can,but they serve it with a glass of ice. It's BYOB.
