Today was my first visit here to grab some food after a morning at the zoo. I got the Barbacoa Burrito with beans, and Oreo Tres Leches cake. The food is one of the best in the area if you want authenticity. The workers were great and very informative for the white guy who doesn't know much about Mexican food. Thanks a million...I will be back with mi familia!
I had an incredible experience here. Maria was so kind and informative. I ordered a barbacoa taco and a beef Gordita. Both were delicious. The barbacoa transported me somewhere… I got another to go. The Gordita, it comes with potato. Perhaps if you aren’t used to this it takes a few bites to adjust, but I say take this as the unique and lovely food it is! I have already invited some friends to come with me again. Do give it a try! It tastes real, it tastes like home and love.
My husband and I were on vacation visiting from Texas and the food there was AMAZING! The service was even better. We ordered the menudo and Picadillo tacos and gorditas which were so delicious. She shared with us that it is a family operated restaurant and her elderly 80+ year old grandfather is still there helping operate the restaurant. Thank you for sharing not only your wonder food with us but your stories. Also, Texas welcomes you whenever you come here in hopes of expanding your business.
Wonderful family owned restaurant. This place serves some of the best menudo I’ve ever had in my life! I try to come here every single time I’m in town. It does not get more authentic than this and food quality is top notch. It feels like you are eating at their home kitchen.
We’re visiting from Mississippi and all craving some Menudo. We came in for a to go order. The staff were so, so sweet. Made you feel very welcomed. Had a nice little conversation with the gentleman up front. The menudo was delicious and they are so generous with portions.
A wonderful hidden family-owned authentic Mexican restaurant. They serve fabulous Goritas and Menudo made fresh. The service was great Start to finish. It's definitely worth stopping by for lunchtime. 👍🏻
I don’t like leaving negative reviews, at all. I tried this place out and I would not recommend it, the photo below is what $18 got me. 3 Gorditas with a spoonful of bland, unseasoned meat and soggy potatoes, they would have been acceptable had the been packed with flavor and ingredients, but they weren’t. I was still hungry after I left - there are no menus with photos aside from one hanging on the wall with 2 pictures. I will never be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone, there is much better Mexican food to be had, I should have followed my instincts on this one. The only redeeming quality is the friendliness of the girl who works there
So my best friend and I tried out this restaurant today and oh my gosh, it was delicious! The beefgorditas are so good. I had the beef tacos as well and it was so good I ordered 4 more for us. The owner Maria is so sweet and told us about every single thing on the menu and her recommendations. We loved it and can not wait to go back.
