7 years agoWednesday and Thursday polish specials are awesome! Normal daily menu is good too. Different from the chains and very homey. It's nice to go get a simple dinner and know it's not going to be the same menu as everywhere else. Soups are always good too.

7 years agoExcellent homemade recipes. Macedonian and Polish food. Lots of choices. Everything we had was delicious. Beef Stroganouf, Hungarian Goulash, Beef Tips, Greek Salad. Soups and Cole slaw homemade. Has great combination plates. Great sausage. Excellent homemade Stuffed Cabbage and mashed potatoes. And most meals come with very flavorful grilled mixed vegetables. All around excellent experience. Casual atmosphere and attire.

8 years agoHaven't had a bad dish yet. The soup and bread is amazing, and all of the dishes I've tried have been flavorful and satisfying. We met Ellie on our last trip and she was so pleasant and happy to hear us compliment her food so highly. Definitely a hidden gem. Small place, reasonable prices, pleasant staff.

8 years agoReally nice variety of eastern European dishes, well known and not as much. I got the Macedonian grill and it was delicious. Great staff, very friendly

8 years agoIf you want authentic Polish food, Ellie's is your place. My husband and I have been here a few times and we love it. They even have gluten free dessert! The best days to go are Wednesday and Thursdays because they have Polish specials. Everything is good for the right price.

9 years agoHearty, delicious Hungarian, Macedonian, and Polish food. Chicken Paprikash, Goulash, Beef Stroganoff...Yum! On Wednesday and Thursday they also feature Polish favorites like stuffed cabbage and pierogi.

10 years agoI had the Macedonian Mixed Grill. The grilled meat was great. The fried medium hot pepper and onion was great over the rice. The price was a bit higher than the other places we have eaten at in the last two weeks, by a few dollars, but it was well worth it. It clearly was the best restaurant meal that I have had in the US. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. There is a special menu of Polish food on Wednesday and Thursday night. Because of the taste and service I expect to have to wait the next time I go, but today there was no line.
