Pictured is a BLT, which for some reason came out without lettuce or tomato... after returning a "chicken" piccata. Also, returned at our table was the blackened fish, which was gelatinous. Pot roast wasn't bad. Fries were good. Primary clientele is retired folk who have lost their taste buds. the only way this place is still open. The server was alright, not very attentive, and didn't ask about refills. No food was comped after half the table had to send their food back. The manager never came out. Staff clearly doesn't care, nor want to be here. We will not be back.
We stopped at Elliots while road tripping, and this place did not disappoint! The food was delicious, service was Great and we didn't have to wait long for food! Lisa was our server and she was awesome. Definitely recommend.
Great restaurant. This is a fun atmosphere. The old west meets Florida here. Great food at a good price. There is ample.parking and a party room . The retirement was busy when we came, but the design of the restaurant reduces the noise and makes for a quaint dining experience.
We got the garlic knots and they were so delicious 😋 not a dense dough, but soft with a Marinara dipping sauce that had great flavor. Really great hamburgers, blackened chicken pasta (could have used more sauce), but was flavorful. Finally we got the Nachos. Huge portion with lots of toppings. For $6.00 more you can add meat. My sister ordered chicken and she was asked if she wanted it grilled, blackened or fried. She said grilled. They brought out beef. When we asked the server she said she would redo them, but my sister said it was okay. I feel the restaurant should have compensated for the price of the meat. My sister didn't eat them, but did not want to complain. Other than that we loved everything else. We were thinking about staying for Bingo, but had to get back home.
UPDATE 8/30/24…I’ve been back several times since my last review. Last night I ordered Philly Cheese Steak to go. It was awful (see picture)! Today I received a replacement after calling them to complain. They didn’t even put cheese on it, it’s a Philly cheesesteak! No side was included (which is supposed to come with it). I got the impression they simply didn’t care. Extremely inconsistent Philly. About half the time it’s great, lately not so much. What a shame! Prior review …My friend and I dined for a Sunday lunch. I had the basket of ribs with baked beans and house vegetables. All was yummy. The ribs are comparable to Texas Roadhouse, I’m thrilled! Prices are great too! My friend had a meatloaf dinner with two sides and was also happy. The service was excellent and fast! We will be returning!
Bartender has no clue how to run a bar or make drinks. It took two hours to get our food which was not what we ordered. Then we were informed that they were now out of what we ordered. Manger was not professional in anyway. She had no clue about the food or how it was made. She addressed me ' yeah, what did you want'. Food was super , super greasy. We were not offered a discount for not getting what we ordered or for the nasty greasy mess they served us. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY..that is all grease on the plate, manger told us that whatever they make it with ( she didn't know what that whatever was) was supposed to do that. Apparently both the cook and the manger has no clue how to cook or prepare food properly 🤔
First and probably a last. Our waitress Tracey was awesome! Would give her 5 stars. Reason for 3 star on service was lack of utensils and necessities... There were food runners that have no idea where plated food is going. If I'm ordering a $28 steak, I'm sorry, but I don't feel appropriate to bring to table and ask who ordered it!!! Food was VERY mediocre. Lobster tail was served cold with a very hard "baked potato" (guessing microwaved based on inconsistency of the doneness and texture of the potato) 2 filet mignon ordered medium rare came medium, and room temp ... Presentation horrible ...see pics! Hamburger served very well done 2 "racks" of ribs served with a plate of individually sliced)cooked ribs...very tough. Where they went REALLY wrong was that 2 ordered salads as their ENTREE. After a very long wait for food (group of 10), ALL were served BUT the two who ordered salads as their meal...when asked food runners, he said "you still want those? Usually when people wait this long they don't want their salad" ghads.... This was their meal! If ordering "loaded" baked potato, do not expect it to be loaded. It is a "sprinkled" baked potato ...
The best part about the dinner was the waitress Jennifer A. We came in and were not greeted for 10-15 minutes. The food was worse than burger King especially for the price. We've been looking forward to this place opening for months and we won't be back. So disappointing. Roadhouse was so much better.
