Good home cooked food. Friendly staff. We enjoyed Zachary's burger that came with steak fries and coleslaw, and hot meatloaf sand which with homemade mashed potatoes - and while it comes with coleslaw, I asked for applesauce and it was homemade chunky goodness. We also decided on dessert. Yum on everything!
***Amazing Homemade Pastys*** if you are looking for the best pasty in the UP stop in at Elmer's! Local, tourist it doesn't matter at Elmer's where the food is great and the service matches. (Don't forget to try the pie)
The food was ok, nothing to rave about. The waitress was great and our food was served quickly. What I didn't like was the building is old and well used and very noticeable. The bathroom was another story. If I had went in there before I ordered I may not have stayed.
