Great food at a reasonable price. Everyone is very friendly and great decor. Large selection on menu also. Love this place. If you haven't been here yet it's a must stop.
I had this one on my list for a while. I chose from the Saint Patrick's Day menu as it ran for the week. The corned beef omelet was excellent and was topped with the house specialty Hollandaise sauce. The hash browns were perfectly crisp and flavorful. I was impressed with the rye toast as it was probably the best rye toast I can remember. The coffee was very good and refilled regularly. The baklava was light and flaky and not sticky like most. I really liked it. The owner and staff seemed to know most of the customers and everyone was friendly. This locally owned restaurant was excellent and I highly recommend. I will be back.
The wife and I made a day trip to Akron to pick up something and thought we’d stop in for breakfast. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you…you might drive by not expecting much. The food is delicious and the staff is wonderful! Very friendly staff. Seated promptly and the waitress reviewed the specials and let us look at the menu for a minute. The owner came out and talked about some of the specials and brought us a sample treat. We ordered a couple of the eggs Benedict daily specials (one was the classic and the other was corned beef). We upgraded the hash browns to Mystic potatoes (cheesy hash browns). Everything was delicious! The cheesy hash browns were phenomenal and the Benedicts were both very good. My wife also got some pancakes which were cooked perfectly! There was enough food to bring some home for tomorrow! Highly recommend!
Little place hiding off the road. Great food great staff. The Salmon Benny is dynamite
We were passing through town and this lovely breakfast hole in the wall restaurant was amazing! The staff were super friendly, we got recommended the BEST egg benedict! I had the corn beef and my partner had the salmon, we got the hashbrowns with cheese…they aren’t lying when they say they have THE BEST! We both said we would definitely come back if we are ever in the area! Thank you from a texas native!
This was our first time here and I would highly recommend. The service was fast and friendly. The food was perfect for a late breakfast. The atmosphere was quiet and friendly. We loved it.
It's been too long since I've eaten here usually go straight for eggs Benedict but Sunday after finding out they ARE open til 2 doing a Google search there was a pic and review of the country fried steak. First time ordering it but wint be the last! Probably the best I ever had, big portion w 2 eggs and the rye toast was nice and thick n skinny slices there. Have missed their coffee it's the best. Cant wait for Sunday to get my new fav item...then again I may have to go sooner. You wont be disappointed no matter what you choose.
Wow what a nice spot. Me and the wife came in the other morning for the first time. We were not disappointed at all, we were greeted by a really nice waitress too our drink orders and was really patient with us as we looked over the menu. In the mean time Al came over and welcomed us again and went over the menu on what he would recommend. He even brought us probably the best baklava I've ever had. He went over the different egg Benny for my wife. I asked about the country fries steak as I love a good country fries steak and gravy. He told me they had the best and I was not disappointed. It's the first country fries steak I've had in a while that wasn't greasy. Also my favorite part is they don't cover your eggs in gravy like some other places. Al came to the table multiple times to check in and was really caring about his guest. This place is a great place to try if your looking for a new breakfast spot. I promise you won't be disappointed at all.
