7 months agoThis is the second time we’ve been here for breakfast and both times our experience was very pleasant. The food was also very good! Our waitress was very friendly. We definitely will be back.

a year agoI got a Texas Plate: enchiladas weren't even hot or on the warmer side and the cheese wasn't even melted, beans were dry and cracked, guac and rice were good. The salsa for chips was actually the best part. The server only came 2x, to introduce/take my order, and when I pushed my plate away, they asked if all was good or refills. The piña colada the bartender made looked good. Overall, it was okay, but it was still a letdown on the food and service. The karaoke sounded fun. I'm more than likely not coming back mainly because it's out of my way, and I was only passing through when I saw the sign.

a year agoBought 2 large menudos in the morning at around 10am, I usually always get helped by women at the drive thru but this time it was a man with a stubble. Ended up finding beard shavings all in the menudo, absolutely ridiculous. I come here often for their menudo but i will have to find a new place.

Edited 2 years agoNeed I say more the picture speaks for itself... I'm surprised as much as I spent everything was cold from the rice to the beans... Didn't even get my tortillas... Charged me for TOGO cups and plates ... OMG n the breakfast tacos are you kidding me I swear I counted maybe 4 potatoes 😡... I just can't ... 50$ and we didn't even eat anything . By the way DON'T ORDER THE FAJITA PLANCHA YOU LUCKY IF YOU GET 5 PIECES OF FAJITA 🙄 Picture speaks for itself ..

3 years agoI've never been here before, the AC was out for the majority of our time there, it was very hot. inside was nice, the staff were very friendly. food came fast. I got 3 tacos..... 1) bean and chorizo 2)egg and bacon 3)egg and chorizo. they give you the option for the bacon if you wants strips of bacon or it cut up, I got the strips of bacon and the egg & bacon was probably my favorite. my wife tried the menudo and she said it was lacking flavor but still good (not great/had better). give it a try.

3 years agoVery clean establishment and the food was outstanding. Would have given your restaurant a five star rating but no corn tortillas were given for the lunch special I ordered. Will definitely return.

3 years agoEverytime we come we get horrible service but today of all days was by far the worst we had 3 different servers and found hairs in 2 of our waters as shown in pictures we told one of our servers and she just laughed said ok and? And asked me if I wanted more water! The food is great but if I found hairs in our drinks imagine what we can’t see in our food they are really rude and disgusting. They only took our order and brought it out to us and never checked on us again they were just huddled in a group just talking. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially if you have children!!

3 years agoBring your appetite to Esme’s. Huge servings with quality tasting Mexican food. One of the best homemade tortillas restaurants in the city. You have to eat here and meet the friendliest staff.
