Waited over an hour after ordering 2 sandwiches. The fried chicken sandwich was an old stale chicken tender ripped in half on a bun with a piece of lettuce on it. The “picanha” was served on a hamburger bun with a few pieces of ground beef on it and the the fries were so old and overcooked we basically had to throw the whole thing out. **edit: owner responded and I am updating review to 2 stars instead of 1 but I can’t describe to you how different the food we were served is from these photos. The buns, fries, meat, and ingredients are all different from other reviews on here. Maybe they were so busy this day they just had to start using completely different ingredients. Either way, hope this helps.
I got the picanha sandwich, and even though this isn’t really a common Brazilian dish (besides the picanha itself), it somehow tasted super Brazilian. I’m pretty sure it’s their sauce. As a Brazilian, I loved the nostalgic feeling that hit me on the first bite. Now I’m definitely curious to try their plates
Tried the picanha. Super nice staff and fresh bread, but somehow doesn't have much flavor. It was pretty bland and needs some spice, or more seasoning or peppers. Not a lot going on here flavor wise. Spicy Mayo worked well with fries, but the fries weren't seasoned or crispy. Tried to send them feedback privately but their websites down. Hope they dial that in at this location because the staff was really nice and Ani's is a great spot.
