See All ReviewsLet's start with the food its not the traditional gator or frog legs. Pay attention its a grill. The frog legs had very little flavor. They are not liked fried frog legs at all. They are tender but not that tasty. The gator bites not to my liking or my wife's. We both thought they were dry and lacking flavor. Service was friendly but food is lacking. If you eaten fried gator or frog legs in Louisiana or Texas you most likely will not like these... Plenty of outside seating but some seats are in the sun. Very few seats inside out of the heat.
Imagine to stop on the gas station somewhere on the middle of nowhere and by some crazy miracle they serve alligators meat there - this is how it feels. No hard feelings please It’s a fast food alligators meat stop, with general fast foods variety and frog legs, maybe I would return to try them. But to try alligators meat I would choose another place next time. Gato meat is good, it’s farm raised and on the google map you can see an alligator farm like 4 minutes away, I can assume that this is a place from where they got gato meat from. Beef sandwich was good also. For gato serving place it is lacking of authenticity. The seats are more like picnic wooden benches. On one side is a traffic road, on other private property plantations. All together it is simple, very affordable stop to eat gato or anything else super fast.
We wanted some lunch and decided to stop at this roadside grill. We had some excellent menu choices that were quite good. Excellent service and easy parking. The menu has something for everyone. And yes, we tried the gator meat... good stuff 😀
