We came from Columbus, Ohio for a visit and this place was highly recommended. 10/10. Everything, and I mean everything we had was amazing. The meatloaf was so flavorful and the greens were my favorite. The only thing I will say is that I’m mad I didn’t bring more back with me. Hoping to be back soon though
I’ve eaten here several times and never been disappointed with my food but today I got the garlic parm fried turkey bites and couldn’t even finish the bites. I had more garlic parm sauce and butter than actual bites and the turkey was hard and kinda dry. They usually put just enough garlic parm sauce but it was so much butter and oil, I couldn’t enjoy my food. My mashed potatoes and green beans were perfect though.
Went there on last night for the first time based on my neighbors recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. My husband and I got two different meals. He preferred the bbq turkey ribs with fried corn and collars and I got the fried smothered turkey chops with buttered rice and collard greens. When I say flavorful and filling. That's an understatement. The food was really good. Turkey can be a bland meat if not seasoned well and they did that!! My meal was enough for three sittings (lunch, dinner and lunch again). The lady behind the counter was really helpful with suggestions as well as being personable. The other customers waiting were friendly and made the experience that more pleasurable. I added a piece of lemon pound cake to my order because I wanted to try everything they had to offer.
