Wonderful Breakfast was great. Reasonable price in historic diner. Good food. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend.
Not A.D.A COMPLIANT (American Disability Association). Not wheelchair friendly, couldnt try food. Only reviewing for others awareness. I Visited restaurant a few days ago and unfortunately, unable to go in with my partner. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. Which was not a problem because I am a problem solver and decided to just walk back and forth between the restaurant a few times to ask about an accesible entrance, and then back and forth to the car and restaraunt for a menu and take his order myself and then bring it back in to the staff ( I got my 10,000 steps I'm that day!) On top of not being able to get in the restaurant the only thing he wanted from the menu, which is the reason drove an 30 minutes for, was the crab cakes which he LOVES!!!! and I was told they didn't have them (Monday 6/1/26). What a bummer! At least we got to go through the chesapeake bay tunnel bridge! So there's that! The girl who was helping me was polite and a few customers at the diner did offer to carry him in, but I declined, as I had already offered to him and he said no. Giving 1 stars over all, 2 stars for service, since the waitress (young with blue eyes and blonde hair) was very polite and apologetic. I'm unable to leave 0 stars for the food or atmosphere as I didn't spend much of any time inside the establishment, or order food because nothing else piqued his interest, 1 star. I hope they improve their establishment and build a cement pad to add a ramp in, seeing as the kitchen in the back has TWO poured in ramps, for deliveries. But no acccesible entrance for wheelchairs. Overall, disappointed, and starving! So we ended up eating at a WaWa, and it was DELICIOUS !!!!!!
Retro all the way. A classic local diner, where many patrons and staff obviously know each other. It is definitely not fancy but it's good value with a solid menu. I had a BLT with fries - obviously made from peeled and sliced whole potatoes - and my lovely bride had a chef's salad. Both were excellent, and there must have been half a pound of sliced deli meat in that salad. The waitstaff was all women today, and they clearly know exactly what they are doing.
