See All ReviewsService was excellent and quick from Sofia on a Monday afternoon. Food from Jose was very fast, hot and flavorful. We had the mini almabres tacos, menudo (generous with the tripa), tripa plate (crispy), green enchiladas (mild seasoned); tortilla soup (excellent broth); chicken chalupas (crispy texture). I was surprised in a good way with the quality of the rice, beans and accompaniments. Skip the chips. The restaurant was clean, modestly and solidly furnished. Bathrooms were clean. Will return.
Amazing food! Especially the carne guisada and the beef puffy tacos. Probably the rest of the menu but those are the only two dishes we ate there. Great service and friendly staff!
The restaurant was clean and quiet. We started with the chips and queso. Not bad. Thick melted cheese. Chops were crispy but very easy to eat and perfectly salted. I had the carne gusiasa and enchiladas plate. Flavor was great on everything but the rice. Just needs a little punch of flavor in the Spanish rice. Overall the food would have been better if it was about 10 percent warmer when. It came out. We also had a three quesadia plate. All great in taste. Tortillas were fresh and a little crunchy for flour tortillas. They could have been hotter and a little cheesiest. Our server didi bring out a bowl of shredded cheese when we asked, to fill them better. Overall, good experience and we will be back to try other plates.
