This was our first time in after hearing our friends say how good it is. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and tasty and the homemade BBQ was amazing!!! The onion petals were great but they did not provide a full cup of sauce for dipping. I asked for extra sauce and was surprised to see a $1.00 charge for such a tiny amount of sauce. We will be back to try other items on menu.
Food is hit or miss. Sometimes its great sometime its over cooked. Way to lazy to put my chicken dip in a bowl I guess. Its weird past two times I've received a cup or bowl for chicken dip but not this time. Id rather drive to Blairsville for BBQ at this point.
They have great food, the servings are very big usually. I have tried a lot of their items and enjoyed them all. The exploded baked potato is awesome.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Started by ordering an appetizer of pretzel rods, which is supposed to come with cheese and honey mustard. After several minutes, the pretzels were brought out with no sauces. The waitress was told, and she proceeded to bring out two containers of honey mustard, after specifically being asked for both cheese and honey mustard. Then, when our main courses were brought out, a hamburger and a brisket sandwich, everything went wrong. To start, the hamburger was supposed to come with fries; they were not provided. When the food runner was informed, she said, “I’ll go check and I’ll be right back!”, but she never returned. Additionally, the brisket sandwich was supposed to come with their “signature sauce”; no sauce was on the sandwich. The meat on both sandwiches had a very strange flavor as well, not what I would expect from a place that prides itself on its barbecue. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not busy at this time; maybe 5 tables were being waited on in the entire restaurant. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you’re willing to risk a gamble for a better experience.
First visit here. We were really hungry, but decided to just opt for some sandwiches. There were only a few others in here, but we had a bit of a wait to get our food. The size of the pulled pork sandwich was disappointing for the price, basically on those small burger buns you get for family outings. I was hungry for a cheesesteak, so got the Josh garlic bun. I tasted some garlic but that was about it, sandwich was pretty basic. The beans though were some of the best I ever had, great smokey flavor. Was surprised they didn't have their own special bbq sauce on the tables like most bbq places you visit, wasn't offered any either. We will probably give it another go and try the meats at some point.
Had the three meats plate, brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. All three were great especially the brisket! BBQ sauce was, as they say FIRE! Tangy vinegar and tomato with just the right little zip to it. If sold separately it would be my go to sauce for home. Current go to is Meat Mitch WHOMP. Plan on taking leftovers home. We were there around 5:00PM. Our server Sissy recommended the mac and cheese and baked bean sides, she was not wrong they hit! We were well taken care of, asked frequently if we needed anything, even by servers that did not have our table. Family run business that’s taking customer service seriously!!! Try Feeder's soon you won’t regret it.
To start, the food was actually delicious. I got the brisket slabs and one side option. I added an extra side to my meal. I got the coleslaw and baked beans which were excellent. I have a few complaints however. One thing was that the service was very slow. Another is the menu is not accurate apparently, as our waitress said you don't get the fries and one side with the sandwich options, even though the menu says that you do. It would have taken a few minutes to take a permanent marker and at least mark that off menu. The tap water tastes like straight chemicals although this probably isnt the fault of the business. I will give this place another shot as the food was delicious, although I feel there is a lot of work to do for the future.
Stopped in to check out this new spot on Philly St. Though I didn't have the BBQ yet the Chiicken Salad was great...plenty of chicken and fries, put the wing sauce on it and it was spicy! Great new place and I will return soon for BBQ! - - - Feb 26 - stopped back in and got barbecue. I have to say for a two meat platter plus the sides for $22 is a fantastic value. BBQ at times is more expensive than most other genres but Fedders makes it more than affordable and have huge portions. I've had ribs, brisket, pulled pork, etc but this pork steak was a show stopper. Honestly they could have done no better tonight. It was great all around... We had 2 giant meals, an app and a few wings for $60. 5 stars
