This is a hidden gem! The most friendly people here and the tastiest food. So much fun to make my bowl different every time we come. Fun to watch the cook make our food on the giant metal cooking surface. This is a weekly must for us.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Solid Mongolian BBQ Option in Fairfield–Suisun I stopped by Fire Wok Mongolian BBQ on a Monday for lunch. There was plenty of seating and it wasn’t too busy. Since it’s right outside Travis Air Force Base, most of the lunch crowd was military, which gave it a steady but relaxed vibe. I love Mongolian BBQ, and this is one of the few spots offering it in the Fairfield–Suisun area. I was greeted right when I walked in and asked if I had been there before in case I needed help, which I appreciated. I’ve worked at a Mongolian BBQ place before, so I was already familiar with the process and went straight to building my plate. One thing I noticed was that lamb wasn’t available during lunch. I saw a note mentioning lamb is available after 3 PM for an extra charge. There’s another Mongolian spot in Suisun that offers lamb at lunch with no extra charge, so that was a small downside for me. That said, the ingredients were fresh, the food tasted good, and overall it hit the spot. The space could use a bit of an uplift or refresh, but it was clean and functional. Overall, a good lunch option if you’re craving Mongolian BBQ in the area. I’d come back again—especially later in the day if lamb is available.
My favorite Mongolian BBQ spot. Love all the selections of meat, veggies and the sauces! Been coming here for 15 years and still crave it every time I come back to Fairfield.
