THE BEST that you can find outside of queens/ Bk! Been coming here for over a yr now & hands down the best! The food is very fresh, flavors are bomb, drinks are authentic! Oxtail, goat, chicken, rice, veggies -all tender & flavorful! You can let them know the spice level. Depending on the time of day, there will be a long wait to pick up. They suggest to order from a food delivery app but me personally I prefer to call the restaurant & speak, that way I can specify what I want/dont want. I’ve been there waiting for 30mins couple times despite calling & orderin& also seen customers come via uber to wait for an hr to order at restaurant to go. ITS THAT GOOD! No lie this place is bomb! I will wait ((impatiently)) long for their food. I don’t mind bc in the end I am happy. They are soooo accommodating & loving, they remember you & greet you like family. This is my spot forever & always. Take out only.
Once again, this place didnt fail me. I came in 7pm. The place was half full. I sat at the counter no longer than 2 minutes before the lovely lady said "Cabbage or Beans and rice?" AI responded "I just want your oxtails and throw your jerk sauce on it". She smiled, laughed and produced. I told her that I only wanted the oxtail and jerk sauce because I was going to add it to my crab legs. I also expressed to her that the food here great to me. Why do I keep going back? 1, the food. 2, the host/lady up front whos attentive, 3, the cooks be cooking!
My Sonshine treated me today. My first time there, would ride by but never stopped. I’ll be stopping from now on!! They live up to their name, cause the food was 🔥🔥🔥!!! I had the small Jerk Chicken!! Delicious 😋😋😋
