6 months agoTall woman in the front is unfriendly. White rice not cooked thoroughly, oxtail wasn't washed well before cooking and still had that gamey taste to it as per my daughter. Food is not fresh, place looks like Sanford & Son on the inside. I guess you pay for what you get, what the hell did I expect for $8?? Bought an extra food for my son and left it on the oven for him for later, after 2 hours food smelled like someone had a bowel movement. AVOID at all costs please

3 years agoI was there today I order curry goat and brown stew chicken .horrible food young lady at the front was unprofessional . She was rude . The two older women in the kitchen with the man was okay . But you can’t keep box’s of frozen meat in a box in front of the store deforestation. And the front wasn’t clean . I was there before and food was good for breakfast one morning .Your business can do better . Get better staff and keep the place clean…

5 years agoI mean they have $5 plates of really good food what's to complain about?!. The $5 plates are packed to the rim too!..I love it..doesn't break your pockets, they have several good options on the $5 menu, food always fresh and on point. I've had plates last me 2 days. I'm a frequent flyer here and it's in my neighborhood. I visit at last 2-3 times a week sometimes more. Great place great good great price.

5 years agoI just want to say I got my food my escovitch Snapper with rice and peas and cabbage with oxtail gravy on my rice I got in my car because the smell was so good and I opened up my food the first bite until the last bite amazing. The food is so fresh and flavorful amazing the fish is amazing I have not tasted fish from a restaurant like that yet and it's not a lie whoever the cook is his or her ratings is 150% great. The two young ladies at the counter are nice and pleasant greet customer service. Grade A+++++++ I could not drive off without writing this. I Will be coming back because quality food is hard to find especially with everything going on. Thanks for putting the love in the food. Signing off Ms blue hair

6 years agoThis restaurant small but one of the most affordable among Jamaican restaurants and restaurants. The meals are very good for its price the woman at the front very very pleasant helpful. I believe her approach many in the restaurant business should have her train staff how to deal with the public. I recommend this restaurant all the way. And I pray all of you enjoy it as I do for they will be looking for a bigger space. I mean unbeatable prices, go out and try it today.

Edited 5 years agoIn My Opinion the food is only fresh on Sundays .. I mean that's what I've experienced. The last time I was here I ordered BBQ chicken and curry chicken. Separate with rice of course and I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED 😞😔😒😕😪😑 Pricing is Great though don't get that kind of price anywhere else .

7 years agoAmazing food with wonderful people. The food is always fresh and the staff is polite and caring they take your order personally. My new favorite place. Clean environment and open late. Caribbean cuisine at its finest.

8 years agoI’m on a work project for a month in Long Island New York, during which time I was looking for a appetizing Jamaican dish... my sister told me about fishnet’s quality and affordability... I had no regrets 👍🏼👌🏽. I will be back!!!
