2 weeks agoSo today was my Kings 72 birthday Mr. Wallace 🎂 so we decided to go to Soul Fixins Soulfood all I can say is the food was so so good will be back and bringing someone else to try it. We both had the fried Pork Chops ,smothered with gravy could've used a little more gravy but was excellent candied yams, and salad , he had same with Mac Cheese, & Collard Greens he enjoyed me & I enjoyed him.Will be back.

3 weeks agoI have to say is the Atmosphere was very delightful and aesthetically pleasing. Service was also good. But I expect a restaurant of this caliber to serve food with integrity. In my opinion-The fried fish should not be Swai. The cost of the meal is roughly 30.00 - I mean because of the notoriety it should not be on the menu. Other smaller businesses are able to serve catfish at a cheaper price. The price isn't the issue but if we're talking integrity- I would expect quality.

7 months agoThe staff was excellent and the food was awesome,cif you are into soul food. The portions are large, so you definitely get your money's worth. I would recommend Fixins to any age and group size. You have to try this place at least once. If I ever return to Detroit I will absolutely eat here again.
