End of an Era. Matt Church has, regrettably and unfortunately for us, had to close his food truck in Hye after a very successful run. Matt brought Smash Burgers to the hill country several years ago. The man makes his own bacon from smoked pork belly he cures himself. Somehow he has worked kimchee into sandwiches that have no peer. And he's a delight. We have enjoyed his catering at many venues across the 290 region. And we look forward to his next concept. So this review is to say, stay tuned and follow Food Church and let's see where it takes us. Thank you Matt!
This food truck was spot on!!! The food was delicious. I got the regular burger and my mom and girlfriend got the tacos. All the food was devoured. If you’re touring the Texas wine country, this is the place to stop!!! Absolutely loved it!!
Mr. Church is a artist. The canvas is before you. The flavors, gourmet meets down home. The experience is exactly unique.
