We were looking for a new place to try and this place scored! The nachos and Beale Streat burger were awesome! We'll be back!
We stopped in for lunch while passing through the area and were pleasantly surprised! This is one of those hole-in-the-wall mom and pop restaurants that doesn't look like much, but that is really worth the stop. The service was super friendly and attentive. The prices are really fair and the portions are generous. We both had the ribs, which are a house specialty on Fridays and Saturdays. They were delicious! I recommend mixing the honey BBQ and sweet and spicy sauces. So good! We also really enjoyed the home-made french fries. Our meals came with a generous cut of cornbread, too. The honey-butter was the coup de grace. We definitely recommend this joint and will return again!
This place knows what it is and does it well. Tasty food and popular local flavors. We gave it 4 stars overall because it’s a three star level restaurant that we can highly recommend. The food was tasty, the service was friendly and efficient, the customers were welcoming, and it has a strong identity.
