a year agoThis is the last time I go to this restaurant!!! First of all those 2 women are indeed just plain rude. Not even a freaking good morning. They go up to u and ask que van a tomar in a very rude way as if they don't even wanna work there. I understand we all have our days but if u do not have that customer service at least fake it. Then they don't even consider our good morning as I was raised to be courteous to others. I kept going to that restaurant because I thought the menudo and breakfast tacos were great in my opinion but today was the last of it. Maybe for me is more of a customer service deal. As we were getting up to pay I saw a sign on inside of door, mention not the outside before coming in that it was cash only. So why not even let us know it will be cash only. And yes as I saw on other reviews they only choose who they wanna say hello to. I wonder if the owner running that restaurant knows how their staff work. And again it'smy opinion. Disappointed!!

a year agoIf i could put zero stars, I would. Food was beyond terrible. Dry ugly eggs, looks like they're old and heated up in microwave. One spoonful of dry refried beans, horrible flour tortillas baking apart. Hardly any bacon. The tiniest slice of bavon ive ever seen. Mean waitresses. They were only nice to the men customers. Pancake was made from old batter it seemed. Pancake was flat and chewy. Coffee was terrible. Dont waste your money. Do not recommend.

a year agoThis morning, I went out for breakfast and was disappointed. The pancakes were flat, and the coffee wasn't great. What made the experience worse was the unfriendly behavior of the staff. Both ladies working there were rude, and it felt like they picked and chose who they were nice to. I believe they should be friendlier and provide good service to all customers.

2 years agoWalked in we were not greeted the lady with the acne scars was very rude . The rice was over cooked my daughter found a hair in the food and a roach was walking in the other table next to us where they had a floor A/C . Very disgusted. The prices are ridiculous

4 years agoI should have paid attention to the reviews. Food is flavorless. The service is poor. Non-welcoming environment. No “thank you” “hi” or “hellos”. No menus, you have to get up and read the board that has hard to see letters. Waitresses have bad attitude. If I were the owner I’d resolve these issues for the sake of the business. Unfortunately for them, my family and I will no longer be dining here.

6 years agoStopped 4 breakfast after leaving South Padre Island & Barbacoa tacos are excellent with no fat & homemade corn tortillas & pretty good non greasy menus. Inexpensive prices

6 years agoI was very impressed with the quality of food at this place. Plates were well served, and prices are very good. No wonder their parking is always full. This is a small Mexican restaurant hidden in San Benito just a few minutes from the Expressway.

7 years agoAbsolutely delicious, food was fresh and hot tables were clean wait staff were friendly and professional. Temperature was comfortable and the sweet tea was really good. If your looking for a great breakfast or lunch at a reasonable price this is the place to eat.
