Service was fast and friendly but the rib tips were inedible. Every bit of actual meat was burned to a rock hard chewy crust and the rest was just gristle and tendons. Gave up after having to pull inedible bits from my mouth with every bite. Tiny portion of coleslaw had a wierd flavor. Fries and sauce were good but pointless since there wasn't any decent meat to eat them with. I wish I would have eaten there instead of taking home. I would have asked for my money back!
Staff was amazing and super friendly, but I nor my kids cared for the rib tips or the sauce. I got a turkey leg that I was super excited for, I didn't know it was gonna have sauce all over it, but It was also severely over cooked... I was just disappointed is all.
You don't come to frankies for the atmosphere. One of the best BBQ HOLE IN THE WALLS you will experience. The sauce is good, but the meat stands on its OWN. Smoky flavor and juicy. I always get the rib tips and have never been disappointed!! Coworker got the spicy wings dinner and said it was some.e of the best wings he had eaten. Local joint on the west side of S. Bend and it's a hidden gem.
