See All ReviewsWent on a Tuesday night with my wife. I ordered 2 tacos, queso and a beer. My wife got the vegan enchiladas and 2 glasses of wine. The bill was $66(!) without tip. The queso was bland and the service was slow for there only being one other couple in the place. I felt it was very overpriced even by Sanibel standards. May give another try but I am on the fence.
Sometimes the food is good, but the item you order is never the same the next time you order it. The wait staff are always over whelmed. I have been here multiple times, and it is kind of a hot mess in a new and different way each time. This visit, they had appropriate furniture, but 3 entree items to choose from and plastic forks and knives to eat your food with out of an old pie tin. That's fine except I'm paying $16 for an enchilada. Last time, they gave us the menu, but it only had appetizers on it. They told us later that there was supposed to be a back to it, but it never printed. It also takes forever even when the place is basically empty. Bottom line: sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. I never know what to expect.
The food here was delicious and we were so happy to finally find a place with vegan options on the menu! The restaurant and property itself looked disheveled.. like it belongs to that crazy aunt who has "eclectic" taste and isn't very organized. Almost turned around before we made it to the front door but ended up being very happy we gave it a try. It would be great if they had a kids meal!
