Server left us a long time before even bringing water or bread, The steaks were bloody and we asked for well done. They had to be sent back twice until we were like "that's enough". When we complained, we were met with an attitude and the statement "We've served many steaks today and no one else complained! I myself had the grilled salmon and it was salty, I've got high blood pressure. I was very disappointed since I'm visiting Springfield and was looking for a good meal
We hadn’t been back to Fritz’s in awhile after they seemed to have a couple mediocre nights. Finally gave them another shot recently for the old reliable Channel Cat and it was great, like the old days. We discovered a couple other ideas on the menu as well, and came back again for a steak and it was very, very good. This is one of the best restaurants in Springfield, no questions asked, and those type places are drying up quickly. Very nice service, low key in there. We will be back to try the chicken and walleye.
Just tried to find a way to send a private message but there wasn’t any! I was with a group of ladies last night and 3 of us ordered a full rack of ribs and you only had 1 rack. So 2 of us each got 1/2 rack and the other person ordered something else. I must say I am always happy with the food and service when we dine there but the ribs were definitely not the ribs I have always gotten there. It was a horrible barbecue sauce. It was chunky and it seems to be mixed with cocktail sauce or something. We both hated it!!
