The ice machine does not get cleaned and there is constantly brown/orange stuff in the ice. It’s disgusting and a hazard
It's a clean store. Kinda slow service but it a busy place collage kids frequent this place so it stays busy.
While waiting for our granddaughter to finish testing at PVAMU, we wanted to get something to eat nearby. That led us to Krispy Krunchy Chicken and their website, where I watched a video created by the owner. And, as a lover of fried chicken, I was persuaded by his description of the recipe to give it a try. Because, why not? Some of the best tasting foods are found in gas stations, just not this time. I was sooo disappointed by the taste that was sadly lacking the flavor of seasoning and the marinade that he was talking about in the video. The honey buttered biscuit was good at first bite, but I've had better. I won't be eating there again. However, it was said in the video that he sold his recipe to friends who wanted to get in the business, and I believe that therein lies the rub, if you will. Everybody's not a cook, and if you're just in it to make money and have no real love for what you're doing, this review is what you get. But, and if you love cooking and watching people enjoy the explosion of flavor that dances across their taste buds, well rave reviews are what you'll get every time. The gas station was clean and roomy, and if you want to dine in, that's an option. They also serve Mexican food according to the sign on the building. Simply put, I don't recommend the chicken.
