Food was good. Different from Fuji (Japanese restaurant in Boiling Springs, SC I typically eat at) but not in a bad way. The atmosphere was lesser as they seated me right beside the pickup area, where food is ready for servers to pick up, and the restaurant was virtually empty. It made it easier to keep my cup of tea full, which they did.
Excellent! We got the hibachi and 2 rolls, all was wonderful. Portions and prices were comparable (if not a bit better!) to other hibachi places we've gone. We've been to what I assume is the sister location in Brevard and always loved it so we were pleased to see this was just as good. Excited to try new items every time we go!
Waitress was pretty bad. We could barely hear when she spoke. Atmosphere, what atmosphere? Anyway. First and last. Wonder why Dave's parking lot was full, but this was empty. No matter what they post as a response, is false.
Absolutely love this place, amazing sushi and hibachi and always delivers excellent service. However, I recently found out that if you order through the drive-through the employees only get the cash tips. Any tip you leave on card doesn't go to them or the kitchen so leave cash tips if you order to-go!
Me and my mom ate here while I was in town for Christmas. This place used to be always busy but there was nobody in there but us and the workers. They probably get more take out than anything. The food was really good and we split a plate because they always give you alot and we got crab ragoons which was delicious with the sauce! Thanks Fuji Yama. Never disappointed.
This gem was in walking distance so we had to come in and were glad we did. Very low ambiance and chill vibe. Wasnt crowed and we were sat and waited on quickly. The kitchen is open faced and whoever this beautiful expo was, was killing the game. It wasn't crowed but they were busy, with take out I presume. Had the ragoons and spring rolls which were both fresh, fast, and fire. For din din we tried the steak and chicken hibachi.... EXCELLENT. Especially the gazed carrots on the side, yes please. Only thing that could have been better was the rice but over all I really loved the whole experience.
Stopped in for the first time today. I ordered two Hibachi chickens, a Teriyaki chicken, a side of noodles and a Hibachi shrimp. The shrimp had great flavor but way overcooked. My wife and son loved the Hibachi chicken. My daughter said the Teriyaki was ok. She asked for a side of ginger sauce and it ended up being a puree type sauce. She didn't like it. I did. The egg rolls are awesome. A real nice lady took our order. Made sure we had everything in our bags before I walked out. Will try again if we're back in the area and wanting Japanese food.
Always good service and tasty food. Out of this world fresh made sushi. They offer complimentary onion soup to start. I recommend the Volcano roll. Though any with the great smoked salmon are winners. As well as tuna.
