i came to celebrate my mother's birthday with a group of 13, all women. we gracefully dismissed ourselves due to the owner being strangely confrontational with I, my mother and her guests because we requested may have requested one too many songs at the *end* of our PAID event...... we were the ONLY guests in the vicinity .. excluding 4 guests .. also women… so i can only assume with such a long, uneventful workday any chance of leaving a good first impression and building community rapport and overall professionalism had long left the building prior to our arrival.... and it showed!!! whatever you do , save your time and money!!! The owner was giving woman hater like super WEIRDDD was very rude and oddly...Rude and unprofessional jokes and treatment and ultimately disrespectful… way to go weirdo… At some point I jokingly said “it’s not about you”…. In reference to the owner being difficult when we selecting the last song … he got upset and repeated said “OH IT IS ABOUT ME and refused to play any more music….. HUH???? Outside of THAT hard left… we really tried our best to give this place chance after chance to recover, even with excusing the tacky service Basically here's our overall experience ... disgusted and most importantly disappointing. horrible customer service!!! horrible hospitality!!!! no glass plates or silverware!!! BROUGHT US TINY LITTLE HOTDOG HOLDERS to share the APPETIZERS…. (Where were we … BDUBS?) our waitress was weird … tried to TELL us the menu… Would not give us ANY menus after asking 4x!!!! They finally got us some…. Weird extremely uncomfortable seating!!!! A real Cute Seat and SIDETABLE setting Also the owner name is BILAL .. LOUD.. whatever willl neverrrrrrrrr give this place the opportunity, let alone any hard earned money just to ruin any night that’s supposed to be a great, memorable night for friends and family SMH... it's really disheartening to see local black businesses treat the locals and their OWN community-supporters horribly... -7/10 the owner, bilal, should be ashamed! .. Such stunted potential!!! you really are better off standing at gametyme! !
It’s a nice bar and grill for the area. Drink Prices were outrageous. 18 dollars a shot. Bottle of Don Julio anejo was 380. The food was good. The customer service was great. I love to support black businesses but having downtown prices in a location like Lynwood is bad for business.
As president of the Broken Arrow Horseback Riding Club of Chicago, we had 18 of our members that came out and celebrated our 34th anniversary, at this new neighborhood location (G Vibez) in Lynwood, IL., on Sunday, January 15, 2023. I read the last reviews (not good) before going. But I trusted my own instincts, and went to see for myself. The food was not only tasty, but also hot, the drinks were wet & good, and the service very adequate. Not one person in our group, had to say anything NEGATIVE about the food or service. I certainly recommend this location for your next outing. Cowboys, hats off to this establishment for a job well done; I'll give them 5 cowboy hats.
