Had surgery in 2006 never received a bill now some shyster Attorney is threatening to garnish my wages for $217 I cannot get anyone at the office to answer the phone been trying for two days . Not worth my time just going to pay it oh and yes I had insurance STAY away from this place 😡
I had my daughter back in 2009 in Middlesex county and now after 12 years they placed a levy order on me for something I wasn’t even aware of because my insurance was active at that time and they claim it wasn’t. After a long time on the phone with legal services in NJ, they tell me they cannot dispute it because its too old! NJ family care today confirmed that there was a mistake from their part and to call the Medicaid district office that they should be able to fix it but they couldn’t, they also confirmed it was a mistake from their end and that my application clearly states my due date and it shows that at that time the insurance was active so I shouldn’t have had any charges but they still can’t touch it because it’s too old! I tried getting in touch with them with no luck! Calling multiple times and nothing. I never was served and I never received any bills! I resided at that address for a short amount of time after my daughter was born and when I moved I never got any mail from them at that address and yes I did update my address with the post office upon moving to my new address in which I lived at for a couple of years before the house burned. Now after 12 freaking years this happens and it was sent to the superior court of NJ and I’ve been residing in another state ever since the fire. They want me now to pay for their mistake! How is this possible! $2,750.17 for anesthesia!
If you want to end up in collection because of their bad accounting or/and bad practices and mistakes. Feel free to recruit their imbecile services. In spite of paying them what they communicated, and them getting paid preposterous amounts by the insurance (I didn't even see their doctor during my procedure, nor did he ever talk to me) It's been over 4 years, I switched jobs, address (thank you hurricane Sandy), lost track of their dysfunctional billing/insurance charges and then I find out I am in collections.
