The food was simply fantastic! A very unassuming restaurant in an unassuming part of an unassuming town...I was surprised and would recommend their food to anyone looking for great Indian cuisine in a very nice atmosphere.
This is in the spot that housed Luigi BG's for decades. I don't claim to know alot about Indian food, I was introduced to it by a lady I worked with who would bring DELICIOUS chicken curry to our holiday luncheons at work (Hi Carm!) I wanted to try a lot of different things so I tried the lunch buffet instead of dinner which is a la carte. I went around 1:15 so some of the food might have not been as fresh as when they opened at 11:30. I enjoyed everything but not at much as Carm's curry. Hers was so flavorful and really unforgettable. This was OK-dunno maybe it was me, I've become a night person, don't usually eat before 6PM- no breakfast or lunch. I went back for seconds-that's a good sign, right? Naan bread was served at table, nice and warm, had plenty of flavor,. Will I go back? I dunno. Maybe for dinner sometime.
This is the sister restaurant to the famous Indian restaurant on Bay Pines Boulevard. Tried it today, it is outstanding! Completely consistent menu and recipes with the other. This is the best Indian food in Tampa Bay area very much like London. The staff is also very kind and conscientious. I normally go for dinner, and avoid buffets in general. But their lunch buffet is incredible and fresh
