2 months agoWe had a fantastic experience at Gators Dockside in Ocala. Our waitress, Zoe, was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was phenomenal. I had the fish and chips, which were crispy, fresh, and cooked just right. We also tried the Mojo pork tacos, and they were outstanding—full of flavor and generously portioned. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. This location is doing it right. We’ll definitely be back!

2 months agoThe food and service were exceptional. The ribs and gator tail were amazing! Highly recommend a visit. Our server, Taylor was very attentive.

4 months agoDriving through Ocala, my travel group and I decided to stop here for lunch. The lunch specials were still going on, and they had a decent selection to choose from. I got the Chicken BLT Wrap, and my wife got the Parmesan Crusted Grilled Cheese with Turkey. We each had a side of chips. Wrap was good, but I wish there was more of the spicy ranch. Kind of a dry wrap. The chips were unremarkable, but I thought they were fine. I am burping them up a few hours later as I write this. My wife's Parmesan Crusted Grilled Cheese Sandwich had us all wishing we ordered that instead. Overall it wasn't a bad meal, but as far as levels to what tasted better? The Grilled Cheese. We all had a beer, and it was ice cold! We loved this. Our server was Cheyenne B, and she did a great job with keeping up with our orders and making sure the food and drinks were getting to our table in a timely manner. She was great.
Dead Inside
4 months agoMy fiancé and I used to frequent here and things used to be great, but last night was not so great. I got a philly cheesesteak and there was literally more bread than meat. The service was great though, so there was that. My fiancé got a chicken tender meal and the chicken pieces were scarce and tiny. Definitely not worth the money we spent on it. Probably won't be returning. It's not worth the drive for that experience.

5 months agoNot sure what the hype was surrounding Gator's Dockside in Ocala. Maybe we caught the place on an off night but food and service was subpar. The wait staff needs more training on how food is properly served and kitchen staff needs instruction on how food is prepared and presented.

5 months agoWe’ve been here a couple times for a quick dinner and I’m not sure we will be returning. We usually go for the chicken wings and they are just too expensive. This time they also didn’t taste very good. I got a chicken tender wrap that was just okay and was still better than most of the food our group got. Overall, just kind of disappointed.

5 months agoWe're going to call this review a mixed bag. A lot to like about this place the the Philly cheesesteak excellent custom meat the wings were very good also tried to grilled wings. Love the way the waitress ask you which football game you want to watch and teach you accordingly that's a great touch And now for the not so good had to ask the waiter twice for the lemons he kept forgetting. The table was not clean and very sticky windows and floor look like they had not been cleaned in a while In spite of all this I will definitely be back because the food was good and there's a lot to like here I would definitely recommend coming here as well the negative items may have just been a one-off

6 months agoVery nice lunch today for part of our leadership team , the service was great , and the food was amazing. Nice place that was clean and orderly.
