See All ReviewsCozy, small town restaurant. You get the feeling of homemade cooking and that’s what made it great. Kitchen not hidden behind a wall so you are able to see how your meal is being prepared. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be coming back.
The long-forgotten style diner. Small, quaint, fresh food, cooked to order. This is a family run business and they put their hearts and souls into making sure their customers are satisfied. The ONE drawback is they only accept cash, no credit or debit payments.
Sometimes at George’s Restaurant I eat light and just order a slice of ham with some veggies on top. The ham always has a great flavor and the sautéed veggies add some good flavor. The biscuits and gravy are always tasty on Sunday’s, their tenderloins and cheeseburgers also hit the spot and you can’t beat the daily specials they have on the chalkboard. It’s cool the owner buys the Pantagraph every day so his customers can read it. My favorite spot to sit is on the old school stools at the countertop. Reminds me of old diners back in the day.
