After being told I had to eat here, I ordered some takeout a few weeks ago and knew I'd be back. I went with my daughter and we decided to split a full rack of ribs ($30) and order an extra side ($5). Service was amazingly fast, even though the restaurant was a solid ⅔ full. We had our food in less than 10 minutes and it would have been worth a 20 minute or longer wait. Probably the best ribs and sauce I have ever had. The strawberry habanero was amazing, as was the original. We did not try the pineapple sauce. Broccoli was perfectly steamed and lightly seasoned (butter I'm assuming), macaroni and cheese clearly homemade and the fries were also perfectly crisped. Added a nice piece of 5 star rated carrot cake for desert and we were both well satisfied. The only other food I can comment on was they had haddock for $25, but the one plate we saw was piled high with the haddock, so I think it was well worth the price for the quantity. They have 3 cuts of prime rib and we were told that the tacos will be a permanent menu item going forward. I believe there were 5 different variations of tacos. All of the servers worked together so I cannot believe you will find better service anywhere. The tables were cleaned, and I mean cleaned, after each guest. I assume it was the owner who popped out and stopped at several tables checking to make sure everything was satisfactory. Worth the drive if you're looking for first rate BBQ and food. I'm just sorry it took me this long to finally go. Reminder....cash only, but the ATM is in the back room. Oh, and they will be closed around some of the holiday weekends, so be sure to double check. 5 stars all around.
Best prime rib I've ever eaten! I also recommend the Mac and cheese, finishing with the carrot cake! We come back every couple of months and they remember us! That's how you know they love their customers!
What a wonderful find! This family-owned restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The food was absolutely amazing, all made from scratch. The service was just as impressive; everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. You can tell the owners take great pride in what they do. We're so glad we discovered this place and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality!
