I ordered the Chilaquiles rojo. It was way spicier than any I have had before and I've eaten a lot of Chilaquiles. The rice was so spicey I couldn't even eat it. Disappointed. I'm not opposed to hot food. I love Thai, Indian and Korean dishes all known to be spicey. This good tasted like they used pute capsaicin oil in it or something. No hot sauce or salsa needed.
It was hard to find parking here, but the dining area seemed clean. The music was a little loud though. Employees were nice. The food was just ok. I have had better tacos, but maybe I went on an off day. Everything I got was bland, and the salsas included.
Today's feature is Gilbertos Taco Shop, they have several locations now, but we went to the 1110 S Bowen Rd spot last night. I am currently in a birria taco phase, so I ordered 3 birria tacos, husband ordered 2 enchiladas & we split the rolled cheese tacos. The birria tacos were the perfect amount of crunch! 🌮🌮 The service has always been good no matter the location & prices are reasonable.
