great places for fresh seafood alot of flavor i love the spicy salmon and they also have the cook food too like the bulgagi a must visit i wiill come back
First time here. I traveled to Korea for 3 week ish and tried this fermented crab there in Jeju which i like a lot. Have been looking for one since 2 years now. The food was quick and great. We ordered the pancake, cold noodles, and 1/2 of the crab ( spicy and soy sauce) . Definitely recommend to anyone and will come back. The only thing i wish is that they provided the apron since this could be fairly messy!
I’ve been looking for a restaurant that sells gejang for years! What a miracle we finally have one. It’s really good. I had the half half gejang and soy marinated shrimp, all which was excellent. Came with rice and a bunch of very yummy side dishes. Prices were pretty good. I want to try the rest of the menu which I didn’t see posted on google. Usually when a Korean restaurant has good side dishes, their food is about to slap so I’m gonna be back to try their regular menu items. The ladies serving us were so sweet and hospitable, and the portion sizes were great. Highly recommend!
First time trying raw marinated crabs 🦀, it was actually quite yummy, but I have to admit I was nervous 😂. I prefer the soy sauce flavor because you can taste more of the crab flavor. The texture is a bit weird, and I eat sushi all the time, so I'm used to eating raw fish, but raw crab meat is something else. It's softer, slimmer, and more mushy. I don't regret trying it, but I'm not sure I will try it in the future. I do like the army stew; the noodles are chewy, not soggy, and the soup flavor is great.
big portions for the salmon and shrimps alone. Really love it and perfect for rice lovers. So happy to have a new restaurant specialized in Korean style soudauced seafood.
I had heard a lot about this place on Instagram and finally decided to visit and see it for myself. We ordered the half soy-marinated crab and half spicy-marinated crab, along with seafood soft tofu soup and galbi. I was pleasantly impressed not only with the main dishes but also with how well the side dishes were prepared. I would definitely return with my parents, as it has been difficult to find a restaurant that does ganjang gejang properly until discovering this place. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent flavors and the friendly, attentive staff.
The soy sauce marinated crabs are so good. Put them over hot rice or you put some rice in back in the shell. The spicy ones were also good but can't have as many. 4 adults We did the half and half and added another soy sauce marinated crabs. The kalbi beef short ribs, seafood soft tofu and the kimchi pancake we're also very well cooked. Friendly attentive service. Also Korean beer or the makguli (Korean unfiltered sake) is an excellent pairing
Before this became a restaurant, I have been getting gaejang through their ordering system based off IG. So when I heard this restaurant was becoming a brick and mortar shop I was very excited to check them out ! The restaurant located in a strip mall is fairly small considering its popularity. If you’re not familiar with gaejang, it is raw crab that have been marinated in either soy sauce or Korean pepper sauce (gochujang). But, this place also offer a small variety of other Korean dishes like army stew (buddae jigae), knife cut noodles with clams and other raw dishes. My personally favorite is the soy marinated crabs and the knife cut noodles !!! They do not accept reservations so aim to go on the earlier side and also ideal for smaller groups. Price wise, it ranges from $50-$75 pp depending on what you’re getting as the crabs are the most expensive items on the menu. They are also fairly new but service was fairly quick as most of the items are already ready to be served. If you’re in the area I would highly recommend!!
