女女 * * 1 minute ago I called and they just so happened to be making gluten-free donuts at the time. the donuts were fresh. They were almost like melt in your mouth good. My kid said that they taste a lot like churros. We got the chocolate glaze donuts. I did ask about the details behind how they're made. They're made on one side of the kitchen in a dedicated fryer. The table is dedicated gluten-free. All the utensils are dedicated gluten-free. That said for celiac people it is still all made in the same kitchen, so just be mindful of that. These donuts were incredible. Keep in mind, I got lucky this time but usually you have to call 24 hours in advance to request for gluten-free donuts.
First time visitor from Granbury. All of the staff was very friendly. I think the people who wrote negative reviews about staff being rude may have confused tiredness with attitude. Who wouldn't be tired by 11 or twelve if you had to get up at 3 or 4 AM to make doughnuts, but I digress. They were patient with me and answered my questions. They were friendly, helpful and kind at 5 AM when I put in my order. They were still all smiles at 8:30 AM when I was able to make it back to pick up my order. Now for the good stuff. The doughnuts were delicious! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfecto! Well worth the half hour drive ( 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back) My only caveat is that they don't ( yet I hope 😅) make apple fritters. So I withheld one star not out of malice or even disappointment but more for incentive. I would like to put this challenge out there; the first doughnut shop to make a gluten free apple fritter will get a five pound bonus in their pay bucket, how about that?! Oh yeah atmosphere, I almost forgot. When you inhale that mouth watering delectable smell do you take note of the atmosphere? For those who do I'll say it was warm and inviting and a bit roomier than most doughnut shops. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I enjoyed mine!
We ordered some Gluten Free donuts and they were delicious!! Our son is GF and never gets donuts. It was such a special treat. The staff was super kind and helpful!!
