See All ReviewsMy first time here. Very impressive remodel of the previous Chinese buffet. I tried several items. The squid was like chewing on rubber bands. Beef with broccoli...the beef was tough and hard to chew. The dumplings were fried and must have been sitting for awhile. Again, tough and chewy. The gulf shrimp with garlic sauce was delicious. I also enjoyed the crawfish. Chicken w/vegetables was delicious. The sushi was good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Next visit I will try the Pho and hibachi grill. Service is typical for a Chinese buffet. I was totally impressed with the layout but a bit disappointed overall with the food. Hopefully the next trip will be a bit better.
Best part of the meal was the hibachi for me. You can add whatever veggies, starch and protein you like and the chef will cook it with the sauce(s) you request. It was excellent! The pho bar was the same setup but I didn't try that. The rest of the buffet is large, including a good variety of sushi and sashimi. It did smell fishy upon entering but there is a good amount of seafood options, so that is understandable. It was very crowded on the Sunday night we went. They worked hard to clear tables quickly and weight time for a table was about 20min. The regular buffet items taste like your standard chinese buffet fare. Overall restaurant was clean and experience was good.
There are a lot of foods and they’re good. Hibachi tasted just right but if you order soy sauce, you should tell the guy, who cooked hibachi, to use soy sauce a little because he added too much on mine and it was salty. They even have Pho soup but noodles aren’t for Pho unfortunately and for that I didn’t get a bowl of Pho. Our waitress was friendly and very talkative. That being said, this review would have been 5/5 rating if they weren’t so careless in washing silverwares and dishes. I see their spoons, knives, forks around the food stalls were soooo dirty from recent servings. They all had food residues left on them like they were only running through dish tank once. The dishes weren’t better either, food residues were present from recent servings. Because of these, our appertize was ruined. How could foods taste good if you see you’re using unclean silverwares and dishes? It’s a health hazard! I can’t take my family here in the future after experiencing this.
