3 months agoIt was my first time here. The younger lady with blonde highlights was a great help deciding what to order, and I gotta say the big gold and taters are a 10/10. Short wait time was nice too.

5 months agoThis place has so much potential, nice big pieces of chicken, perfectly thin and crispy batter, wonderfully nice service but they really missed out on a couple things. My food was ready WAY too fast, I know that’s a plus for some people but it’s obvious the chicken had been sitting for awhile. I’d much rather wait 15 minutes for fresh food then have dry chicken, and oh what a shame in the flavour department. Practically zero seasoning! Thank god I got some gravy or it would have been the most bland food I’d ever had. They have so much going for it but without fresh and seasoned chicken it just really misses the mark, I’m new to the area and trying out all the chicken places and unfortunately this place just doesn’t compete with some of the other options close by. I hope this reaches the owners and they check out some of the competition to see what they’re missing.

6 months agoI rarely get to eat here due to my work hours...over a 7 month period I've only been able to get my greedy lil hands on a mouth watering Big Gold twice..I like extra pickles and I demand satisfaction..the last 2 B.G's were by far the best I have ever had and I've been eating there since it was Mary Browns ..finally!! Someone understands the assignment!! I've always been happy with the food but never THIS happy.

8 months agoCatered to a large group, the meal was fantastic, and the service was impeccable. If your serving a large group this is the place to go. Fantastic food and service. Definitely will do it again.

9 months agoFast, friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. My first time ordering tonight. I knew it had to be good because it's always busy. We ordered a 10 PC family meal. Tried each option of salad. Not a single thing was disappointing. Everything was phenomenal. I'll never be back to Mary Brown's. Golden Chicekn is the spot to go.

Edited 4 months agoDelicious burgers. The owners prepare and make everything from scratch and the food tastes accordingly. I don’t write many reviews but I love supporting up and coming businesses that take pride in the food they serve. Good luck guys

2 years agoReally friendly and quick service. We ordered the Cajun Gold Chicken Sandwich and it did not disappoint, it was simple but well executed. Very crispy, nice sized piece of perfectly cooked & flavoured chicken.
