I wasn’t expecting a lot from this place but this place was pretty good! Service was decent, and quality of food was beyond expectation! Definitely would visit again.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem after emerging from Spa World, slightly dehydrated after nearly 4.5 hours of soaking. We’ve had shabu shabu before in Fairfax and I do love Korean food, so when Brian suggested this place, I was in. You choose your meats (we went for beef, chicken, and loads of veg) and cook everything yourself in a bubbling broth at the table. You can opt for the all-you-can-eat and visit the sauce and veg bar for extras. The setup is well thought out — staff are attentive at the start but don’t hover. Want more? Tick the sheet, ring the buzzer, and they appear like magic with refills. Food was delicious, the experience enjoyable — it just lacked a bit of atmosphere. Nothing wrong, just missing that extra spark. Totally worth a visit — spa trip optional but recommended. (Also… sorry for the limited photos. I was busy rehydrating and eating.)

The restaurant is spacious, clean, and has a cozy, inviting atmosphere — perfect for both casual meals and family gatherings. What really stands out is the balance of quality and value. You get generous portions, great flavor, and a fun cooking experience that feels worth every dollar. Whether you’re craving warm comfort food or a hearty meal with friends, Gom Shabu Shabu is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended — I’d definitely come back!
