I love this place. Had the opportunity to get food from here while just passing through and it was definitely worth it. Family atmosphere and the owner actually was not behind a counter she sat at a table on side of me and took my order. Such a warm welcome for people she had never met. I'm definitely going back whenever I'm there again.
Good To Me Soul Food truly lives up to its name! The owner, Tonia Bell, along with her staff, were friendly, welcoming, and personable. I ordered the Whiting meal, and it did not disappoint. The fish was battered and fried to absolute perfection—crispy on the outside while still tender and flaky on the inside. The mashed potatoes had the perfect texture—smooth, creamy, and comforting. The green beans were also very well seasoned and full of flavor. My wait time was a little longer than expected, but honestly, the food was well worth it.
Food isn’t as good as it used to be when the business first started in the food truck . Not fresh greens they were canned Mac and cheese isn’t good anymore Potato’s weren’t homemade Fish tasted like it was cooked earlier that day and warmed up in the microwave Chicken wings tasted warmed up as well and were extremely huge .
