Wanna start with a big THANK YOU to these awesome and hardworking humans who are still running regardless of no power. The community appreciates you so so much! I’m a bit of a pizza snob but my boyfriend picked me up some from here to satisfy my craving while everything else is closed. I was not left disappointed at all! SO delicious, could not recommend and say thank you enough!
My nice ordered one large pizza - and mozzarella sticks that I paid, and cost over $45. This was the first time I tasted this incredibly bad, tasteless, ugly looking, watery pizza. I swear one can make a better pizza using grocery store pizza dough. The mozzarella sticks were re-heated, probably made out of frozen, Walmart sticks. After eating one, I immediately got a stomach ache. When I contacted the store to complain, a New York- Italian accent, bossy man answered the phone. He overtalked me, did not let to say more than the first 10 words. He said that he is in the business for past 30 years, and is nothing wrong with his pizza, but with me. He was yelling to "never call here again". In New York the owner would have not dare to sell this disgusting stuff. Just a note - the receipt was not attached to the delivered box, only a the pice of paper w/out the company name or charges. I had to look up on the internet to find out where did my nice ordered it(see attached) .. Shady place for sure. Wondering, why was the owner so upset, how many people are calling this place for the same reason? Normal businesses would apologize and ask questions, this one choose to threaten me, asking never to call back. If you have taste buds and respect for the money earned with hard work, then I strongly recommending anyone to avoid this place.
This used to be our favorite place. We used to order two times a week until about 3 weeks ago. Something terrible has changed. Lately they have been giving us burnt food most of the time. Also, the portion sizes are incredibly smaller. Today my eggplant parmesan sub is half the size it usually is, crammed into a wet styrofoam container, and served with a small side of soggy fries. It used to be a foot long, packed with delicious eggplant, and wrapped in paper like a sub. What happened?!?!? I posted pictures of my burnt sandwich 4 times and they keep being conveniently removed. If you are curious to see the real way their food comes feel free to email me. They took the "signature fried hoagie" off the menu, and the burnt breadsticks come swimming in butter and oil. I'm so sad to report this place is not the same and no longer any good to eat at.
Wow ......this is like stepping back in time 60 ...70 + years into a beautiful & classy era....yet this place still has captured a relaxed atmosphere ...... If you want a place to escape to that is peaceful.... quiet and still near delicious food and fun home town shopping then look no more .....this place will truly take your heart & impress you
Great New York style pizza! Plenty of cheese and sauce had great flavor. Arrived FAST and hot on Friday night. Need to remember to give credit card over the phone when placing the order though. Driver offered to call it in but I had cash. Will order again for sure.
OWNER SCAMS HERE, SELLS LARGE PIZZAS, GIVES YOU MEDIUMS. I've ordered delivery from here twice in the past few months. Both times have been the same order: their published menu coupon for "Two Large Pizzas, Two Toppings". The first time the delivery guy shows up with two MEDIUM pizzas. When you call the store, the owner ("Darius?") argues with you over the phone and basically calls you a liar. I had to bring them back to his store WITH A TAPE MEASURE to prove that they messed up the order. Fast forward a couple months, we give them another try and... same scam. Call the store and it's the same thing as before; the owner arguing and calling you a liar, but this time via the guy answering the phone and taking orders. It's a shame, because their pizza is great - probably the best I've found down here, but I will never order from here again. In fact, I'd go out of my way to recommend ANY place else over this one. I honestly think the owner deliberately does this to shave costs and hopes that most people won't catch on.
My wife and I were visiting the Largo area and found a great pizza place. The owner Darius was very welcoming and made my feel as if I was a guest at his home. Great atmosphere and a great menu. I will definitely make it a point to eat at Grande Pizza again when I am back in Largo. From Tony and Aida.
The pizza is pretty good. They are fast and affordable. Unfortunately, they required a minimum purchase of $8 to use a credit card. Sorry, but i find this is unacceptable in an age where people don't carry cash as much. I would have had to order 4 slices of pizza and a soda to be able to use my card!! I told the guy at the register they are violations their merchant agreement and aren't allowed to require a minimum purchase amount to use a credit card. He said "That's just the way it is." I didn't argue with him since he isn't making the rules anyway. So I reported the violation to Mastercard and I hope I will be able to use my card if I return.
