Excellent country restaurant, remarkable food and wonderful people. Gotta come here if you're looking for some good food and great service.
We've driven past Granny's countless times but today we actually stopped. What a treat! The chicken fried chicken special was delicious with buttery mashed potatoes and really good gravy. The included slice of cake was a sweet way to end the meal. Everyone was friendly and cheerful. We will definitely make this a regular stop from now on!
This place is not open on Sunday or Monday. Real country down to earth, folks eat at a place like this and that's what I like so much about it. My husband said that they served the best beans, he has ever eaten anywhere. They were so good that he even got a second helping. This restaurant is able to serve many different pallets. They offer dinners: mexican, fish and other American dishes. I'm truly enjoying the grilled mixed vegetables myself. Can't say I liked the onion rings and the catfish I've had better. We made the drive all the way from Austin with it's abundant list of eating spots, all the way out here to eat at this renowned food spot. Try it! You'll be headed back here to eat more times than you realize.
