2 months agoWe found Granny's a new restaurant for us in Winchester. Highly reccomend. We ordered two chicken fried steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy mixed vegetables and a very nice side salad. The restaurant was nice, calm and clean. Everyone was very welcoming

2 months ago5 stars isn’t enough for Granny’s! Gary has always been an absolute gem, but I have to give a special shoutout to Kassandra. She was on it from the moment we sat down, super friendly, attentive, made amazing suggestions, and her personality was everything. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and that kind of service is hard to find. She is definitely a keeper! If I could give Granny’s 10 stars, I absolutely would!!!!

2 months agoFirst time there and I was impressed. There were ~20 of us for lunch. The service was exceptional, the staff communicative, and the food was great. Comfort food breakfast and lunch was available. I had a Reuben and fries with iced tea. My friend had breakfast with scrapple.

2 months agoThis was my first time to Granny's. I stay in the local area once a week for work but had never tried this place for breakfast. I wish I had! I came into Granny's at 6:30 in the morning hoping to just grab a bite of something before work. This was an incredible find! It is a very welcoming place with encouraging messages throughout the dining room. Their faith is proudly displayed and inviting to all who come in. The menu includes all you could want for breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelettes and country egg plates with the works. I ordered hot tea with my breakfast and it was served just as I like, a cup of hot water with a bag of tea already in it and the next cup waiting for me in the little tea kettle on the table. I ordered the ham and egg breakfast with pancakes and it did not disappoint. It was the most generous portion of breakfast I have ever seen. The ham steak was large and so tender. Everything on my plate was exceptional. The pancakes melted in my mouth. I can't say enough about what a perfect breakfast experience this was. Gary loves the place and his regulars all know him by name. His dedication to providing unmatched care and attention makes the place over the top. I will definitely make weekly visits here for breakfast.

4 months agoMy husband and I were traveling and seen the great reviews for Granny’s. We decided to stop in for breakfast before our travel home to PA and we are so glad that we did. This is your local hometown spot that you want to support. Smiling faces, excellent food, and a quiet space. Loved the corn beef hash (not canned) and the breakfast potatoes. This little place was the perfect way to end our weekend road trip!

Edited 8 months agoA Delightful Cottage in the Woods Find! - Double Thumbs Up! We recently had lunch at Granny's located at 2294 Berryville Pike, Winchester, VA 22603, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the setting felt so charming—it was right by the side of the road, yet it gave us the wonderful feeling of having a meal at a cozy cottage tucked away in the woods. The food, as we experienced it, was double thumbs up! We particularly enjoyed our main dishes: the Country Fried Steak was absolutely delicious, and the Scrapple was grilled to perfection. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, truly hitting the spot. It was one of those unexpected gems we hope to find when dining out. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm, and the quality of the food was exceptional. If you're looking for a delicious, comforting meal in a truly welcoming spot near Winchester, we highly recommend stopping by Granny's.

a year agoI stopped at Granny's on my way home to TN from MD and I am so glad I did. Everything was fresh, they cut their own fries, and the tomatoes were beautiful! I had a Philly with no lettuce and cheese fries. Everything was delicious and the server was very friendly. They have a bar and breakfast is served all day. The sign outside said karaoke on Thursday at 8p. If you're going south, you'll have to make a u-turn, but it's worth it!

2 years agoWhat an amazing breakfast place!! How have I been missing this gem right in my hometown. My family and I went this morning and our server was so friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious! The pancakes were to die for!! My hubby said the country fried steak was the best he’s ever had. We will def be back! SOON!!
