Not crowded like s.p. + o.c. bridge. Good for dogs too. My senior affenshit walked the entire length of the path and back! Great westerly view of the sunset. Like what other reviewers mentioned, there are birds if that's your jam. As is the norm of any busy bridge pathway, it will be noisy from traffic and it's not a trail, it's a concrete pedestrian walkway. Be aware, during warm weather I highly recommend bug spray! If there is no wind or you are unlucky like me and the wind decided to stop mid journey, the gnats will be in your face, in your hair, flying into your nostrils, into your ears, GNATS EVERYWHERE!!! They swarm around you and follow relentlessly. I came home with several bites as a reward for getting my steps in. Maybe they won't be attracted to you, I also attract mosquitos like a magnet, so it could be a chemistry thing. I act as a bug repellent for everyone around me, since they like to feast on me :(
Very underated stretch I usually am here for Ninety-Nine percent 🐦🐦 photos as last year I was tracking a pair of bald eagles and this would be my starting point .. the South side by that I mean the starting point at the toll booth is the start as there's not much here on the other end is a beach and a lot more to play around with and explore if you're anything like me.... If you park on the Southside always look to your left it up on the tower I thought people walk right by me think I'm some weirdo and meanwhile there's a majestic bald eagles up on the Tower. I'll go months without seeing them and then boom out of know where you'll see one then you'll see I've seen them fight with ospreys off of that Tower so there's that
