See All ReviewsStopped here on a whim, just to get something quick and easy to fill our bellies. Was NOT expecting such a warm and kind man (with an incredible mustache) to be waiting at the window with his lovely wife. I ordered the falafel, and my partner ordered the gyro, and a lemon bar to share. While we waited we were asked about our days, about our plans, and even traded a story or two. Sounds like small talk to some, but with such sincerity from a stranger. The food came, and we said our goodbyes to stuff our faces elsewhere. My goodness was it delicious. The falafel had the perfect amount of hummus, and was absolutely loaded with fresh veggies. The gyro was cooked splendidly, with nice crisp onions. Even the lemon bar had the slightly chewy texture that I love so much. I will be returning the next time I'm in Mill plain, and you should as well. Support local businesses!
I have gone to this location for years. He was gone for a while but had food trucks roaming to different events and locations. But today I searched for Gyros near me ( I was at Costco) and I was delighted that he is back! Such a warm, kind, friendly man! And the food is fabulous! There is a manequin there and my friend commented that it looks like him, maybe in his youth! He said he keeps losing his mustache! Haha! Please everyone should support this small (very small) business owner!
Was craving a gyro and stopped in at the greek gyro guy, The young couple working there were fantastic, and before I ordered the gentleman helped push a stranded car out of the line. They were friendly and we had a nice small chat while my food was being prepared. It was delicious! I highly recommend the double meat gyro with everything.
