See All ReviewsHubby and I went here for date night wanting to try something new. I don't know if every night is like this, but we definitely felt out of place because everyone in there was well over 60 years old. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I'm just saying it's an older crowd. Hubby had steak, baked potato, and salad. The steak was tender and delicious. It was perfectly cooked. The potato was good, and the ranch dressing was tasty as well. My food on the other hand.... I ordered the chicken picatta. It is not chicken picatta by any stretch of the imagination. They need to rename it or remove it from the menu. It was chicken with no seasoning swimming in a cream sauce. The cream sauce had no flavor at all. It tasted like they heated up heavy whipping cream and poured it over. The rice pilaf tasted like what comes out of a box. The rolls were good, but I'm pretty sure they didn't make those. I found the food to be expensive for what you get. Our waitress was friendly but we ordered crab cakes for appetizer and we never got them. Hostess was friendly. Restaurant was clean as were their restrooms.
An unexpected pleasant experience. The interior has a high end vibe but the clientele keep a casual feel. The wait staff is friendly, and the food is great. The steaks and seafood are pricey but they have other options like the chicken fried steak for about $13. Simple menu made ordering easy.
Filet was perfectly cooked. Baked potato and mashed potatoes were both great, Only negative is that the grilled chicken salad was definitely lacking. Only had chicken a single tomato slice and a handful of cheese. Quite underwhelming for a $13 salad. Aside from that the service was wonderful as was the majority of the meal.
