A great spot for a sandwich! They don't skimp on anything. The sandwiches are hefty. This place can get busy with the line going out the door. But the staff is pretty good at moving the line. Once at the counter, one of the staff will ask for your order, and they will be the staffer that makes your order too. So it'll be easy to know when your order is up.
All that bacon 🥓 😋.. this was my first time.. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel.. and a turkey club.. do yall see the size of the turkey club.. ill be eating that for 2 days.. got me a new spot to go too..
I found this place on Google, its a 5min walk from my job. I stood in like for about 10mins and waited another 10mins for my steak & cheese but it definitely was worth the wait! I normally have to add salt and pepper but this time I did not! And the price was really cheap for the area!!!!! I def will be back! My sandwich was huge but it packed alot of meat! And I saw the other sandwiches that people were getting and I must say .....the sandwiches were hugeeeeee! So I was expecting mine to be bigger but again it was delicious and worth every penny!!!!!
The food tasted great and there was SO much meat and bacon...very satisfying!!!! We were super happy that we stopped here for lunch. One Club on a sub was big enough to split and still have some leftovers (which were delicious for breakfast the next morning)! No sit down dining. But there is public seating outside and was perfect for a sunny day lunch.
First state in the seventies. It looks like it's been a change in the people who prepared the food but it seems to be actually managed to owned by the original people. It's a carryout no seating. When the food is good. I recently had a pretty good turkey burger which is hard to find in this city. I really go there for the egg salad sandwich which I have them put turkey bacon on. The original egg salad and bacon sandwich has regular pork bacon on it. The chicken salad sandwich was delicious and enormous. Only paid about $9 for the turkey burger. The chicken salad sandwich I think was under 7. It's on George Washington University's campus so the line is always filled with students from GW any time along with school students from school Without Walls. Parking is the only drawback.
Phenomenal breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese on a sub roll)! So good I’ve gone back three days in a row. The cooks are super nice and lay out the options they have. The bacon is plentiful, crispy and delicious! Glad I don’t go to GW otherwise they’d have to roll me to class.
What a great breakfast! Food was delish! I got a double egg, provolone, and tomato on asiago bagel. The line was out the door but they got us out within 15-20 minutes. Price is great and so good. We will be back multiple times on this trip!
Stopped in at Leo’s GW Delicatessen and tried the steak and cheese sub. Really tasty and very reasonably priced. The bread was fresh, the steak was flavorful, and the portion size hit the spot. There was a bit of a line when I went around 11 am, but that just tells me the locals know this is the place to be. Definitely worth the wait and I will be coming back to try more from the menu.
