First time at this restaurant. I ordered a few breakfast tacos to go. The waitress was very kind. The tacos were tasty but the chicharron with egg fell really short. There were only a few pieces of chicarron and they were very hard. Not what I expected for that type of taco, but the bacon and egg was great.
Came is wanting a large quesadilla only, shop said it’s only available as a plate. Didn’t want the rest of the items but they charged me for the plate and said they couldn’t remove other items. Meat was chewy and did not have much flavor. The plate and a small can soda with tip 21.24. So mad I couldn’t even enjoy this expensive lunch.
Hands down the BEST Mexican food in San Antonio! Every dish tastes like it came straight from a home kitchen in Mexico—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. You can feel the love in every bite. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel like part of the family. Twisted Tattoo loves this place—we’re regulars for a reason! If you’re looking for true Mexican home cooking, this is the spot. Highly recommend
