Genuinely every single time that I start to feel sluggish and lightheaded from eating nothing but campus food I go get halal cart. It genuinely saves me from my iron deficiency these days. I’ve gotten this food around once every week and I have never had a bad meal. The only downside is the drunk dudes in line when I’m waiting in line sober lol. But that is in no way a representation of the business.
The food is usually amazing. But if you are there during friday nights, it can be a hit or miss. They keep the meat over rice items ready to go and just add the sauce before serving. While it cuts down the serving time, the hot food cooks the salad quite a bit leaving a bad taste to the salad and the rice around it. Otherwise, really yummy halal food.
I always give them specific instructions just for them to forget something everytime. I literally just left the place asked for both sauces EXTRA, and got NO sauce. I’m over it Food is good, but so inconsistent it’s frustrating
