I was a little worried about pricing and quality of the food but this is one of the best Halal I’ve had. The fries were perfect, and the food tasted fresh. Service was great. They were kind. The patio is also very nice especially on 6th. Paid $40 for the fries, drink, wrap, and a filled plate.
the food here is awesome i never had something like this where im from, we met the owner and he gave us free coffee and some baklava and a few drinks awesome man and awesome food if you never tried this place i recommend it highly will definitely come here next time i visit
This is by far one of the best food trucks in Austin! Flavourful and delicious food with amazing views and a great atmosphere! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. 10/10 definitely recommend!
The food was DELICIOUS!! My falafel wrap and fries were so yummy. We loved getting to talk to Moe! Such a kind man. Also, a woman forgot her purse and we watched the halal zone men take incredible care to make sure she got it back. I will be coming back here every time I’m in the neighborhood!!
Worst food truck experience I’ve had. Ordered at 2AM, waited 40 minutes in heavy rain. The server gave both orders to another customer , he started eating mine while I stood there like an idiot. When I finally asked, they casually said “that’s your food.” Then the other customer handed me his unopened wrap, which I didn’t even want. The truck was not busy at all. Zero excuse for this level of incompetence and lack of basic care. I was starving and exhausted at 3 AM, worst late night service ever.
Tasty halal food and great late-night option! I recently tried Halal Zone and had a really good experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were quite generous. The chicken over rice and shawarma were especially delicious. What I liked most is that the meals are very filling and satisfying, especially after a long day or late at night. Many people say it’s a great alternative to fast food, and I agree. The menu has a good variety of options, so it’s easy to find something you like. The sauces add a lot of flavor, and everything tasted well prepared. The only downside is that service can sometimes be inconsistent depending on how busy it is, but overall the food quality makes up for it. Overall: A great spot for delicious halal street food with big portions. I would definitely come back!
Tried Halal Zone for a quick meal and was honestly impressed. The food came out fast and tasted fresh, especially the chicken and rice. Portions were generous for the price, and everything was well seasoned without being heavy. The place is simple and no-frills, but clean and easy to order. Staff were friendly and helpful, even taking a minute to explain the menu. This is a solid go-to spot when you want something filling and affordable.
I was just passing by and spotted this food truck, and since I was hangry, I decided to stop and check it out. I parked, walked over, and took a look at the menu it was super easy to understand, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They helped me decide what to get, and I ended up ordering the chicken over fries. The chicken was so good perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Honestly, it’s different from what you get at most other trucks. I loved it and definitely recommend trying the chicken! I’ll for sure be back.
